PUG Challenge 2023 - Europe, the wait is over!
Finally the wait is over and the doors of the PUG Challenge 2023 are open and we're at the registration desks waiting for everybody to come in.
The organisation committee has worked hard to put all the pieces together and now it's up to the delegates to enjoy the many technical sessions, the seven 3 hours workshops, the expo and commercial sessions from our valued sponsors and the entertainment prepared for the evenings.
Wednesday
The General Session starts on Wednesday at 9 o'clock and we'll be waiting for you at the registration desk at 8 o'clock. Keep your ticket ready which has a QRCode printed on it for a smooth and precise registration process.
We continue the Wednesday morning with the opening of the Expo room where you can interact with all our sponsors and have a cup of coffee. After that we'll have two slots with four contemporary technical breakout sessions. As usual it will be hard to select only one session per slot, but remember all sessions will be recorded for your viewing pleasure.
After the late lunch break (13:15-14:15) the program continues with three slots of four contemporary technical and commercial sessions. At the same time the first workshop is scheduled with Roy Ellis and Stefan Bolte teaching the basics of the PAS OE.
To close the day there will be two Birds of a Feather sessions when all other sessions and workshops have finished. There's one with the staff of White Star Software talking about Tips and Lessons learned for Database Administration. The other BoF session is about the famous ChatGPT AI powered chat tool in relation with Progress OpenEdge.
During the wednesday evening we can toast on the Sponsors during their Reception and get to know them and the other delegates better.
Thursday
On Thursday we have a full program starting at 9 o'clock with four rooms dedicated to the 3 slots with technical and commercial sessions and two rooms for the workshops.
After the lunch break from 12:45 to 13:45 the program continues with the same division as the morning for a total of 12 breakout sessions and two more workshops.
As previous years, the Thursday evening is Party Night in the beach club Nautilus! Make sure to bring your beach wear outfit.
Friday
On the last day of the conference we have again a full program in the morning with technical and commercial sessions and the last two workshops.
After lunch we still have two slots with technical breakout sessions as we close the doors at 16 o'clock.
